Who is West Oz Active?
I started West Oz Active as the result of lots of travelling and touring across Australia and Overseas. I realized, that for those of us, that have the guts to pack up to travel the world or our country, we want adventure, a story to tell and most of all an experience we will never forget. So after 10 years of leading adventure tours, first with schools, than backpackers and three years traveling myself, I came back home to my favorite place, Karijini.

West Oz Active is not for everyone, it is for anyone who wants Outback Eco adventure with informative local guides.

Why West Oz Active?
This is the most common and best question to ask before joining a tour. But for Karijini it’s not a difficult one to answer. If you travel on your own you get to see the area from the top of the gorges, or if you’re adventurous or on a tour, you’ll get part way down into the gorges. West Oz Active are the only company continuing down to the class 6 sections down to the bottom. This means you can do a circuit rather than going back the same way you came. Also the deeper you go, the more spectacular it gets. We are also the only company, that gives you the chance to take home an amazing DVD of your thrills, achievement and the natural wonders you experienced.

West Oz Active work in conjunction with Western Xposure, Planet Perth and other bus and tour companies visiting the region, so you can join us on one, two or three days of adventure.
